Asset Artist

As an Asset Artist, you will be responsible for creating three-dimensional models and assets for video games. You will need strong knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Maya or Blender, as well as a deep understanding of anatomy, lighting, and texturing. Strong creativity and attention to detail are also important, as you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and realistic 3D assets.

The Asset Artist is responsible for creating and maintaining the visual assets that are used in our games. These assets include things like characters, vehicles, and environments. The Asset Artist must have a strong understanding of art and design principles, as well as the technical skills to create and optimize assets for use in a game engine.

Most important skills and tasks:

• Create and maintain visual assets for use in our games, including characters, vehicles, and environments.
• Work with the art director and design team to create concept art and design mockups for new assets.
• Create high-quality textures and materials for use in our games.
• Optimize assets for use in the game engine, ensuring that they are efficient and perform well.
• Work with the programming team to ensure that assets are properly integrated into the game.
• Test and validate assets to ensure that they are working correctly in the game.
• Provide feedback and support to the programming team on asset-related issues.
• Keep track of asset changes and updates, and ensure that the game is updated accordingly.
